Drexel and Seattle U are private, so it doesn’t matter if you’re in-state or not, other than some modest amount of advantage for “geographic diversity.”
You look to be a solid applicant for Drexel in general, although certain programs may be more competitive than others. You’re probably not going to pull in a lot of merit aid, though, so you’d need to be okay with the cost. A public U with a lot of similarities to Drexel (co-op program, urban campus) is U of Cincinnati. You would qualify for the National Outreach Award of 6K/year there (CA is one of the target states, and your stats meet the guidelines), so you’d be looking at around $37K/year for Cincinnati, as compared to about $69K/year for Drexel. Compare the specific programs you’re interested in and see whether it seems that Drexel is offering almost double the value, because Cincinnati is a great school in a lot of the same ways.
Seattle U looks like a very realistic admit too, low-match or even safety.
OP wrote “In state (CA)”, but a 3.19 UC weighted-capped GPA makes all UCs except for UCM to be reaches (UCM may be a match to high match for admission, assuming that it is affordable).
Note that a 3.19 UC weighted-capped GPA probably corresponds to a 2.8-2.9 unweighted 10th-11th grade academic course GPA for a student who took two or more year-long honors/AP courses in each of 10th and 11th grades.
I don’t know much about the schools on your list, but I would try to get your SAT as far up as possible. If you need any help studying for it, I’d be happy to help you, just PM me.
Depends on your intended major…UW is very competitive for CS. I think you’re probably a low reach-high match for UW with your GPA. Apply if you’re thinking about it and like the location and “vibes”!
@Econloverguy I am applying to CSUs (Pomona, Long Beach, and Fullerton) for my safety schools. @Aneem00 How much do my chances increase if I’m going to be taking general bio at my local cc to make up for my D in bio and I’m applying EA for my OOS colleges?
