Out of State Transfers

I am about to finish my AA from the local community college where i live. I will have a 3.85+ GPA with a good course load. I have currently applied to a few in state universities, but am thinking about trying to transfer out of state. I have noticed a lot of out of state schools ask but dont require SAT scores. I took the sat’s almost four years ago and did pretty bad (1550). I decided to be an idiot and not study because i thought high school sports were more important. Should i retake them before applying? or would it make a difference? I just want to see all the options i have out there!!

or should i consider taking the act’s and not submitting my sat?

any advice would be appreciated!

Can you even afford an OOS college (as a Janitor)? Look at the Common Data Set section D for each college to see what they evaluate for admission. Your IS schools may not look at SATs at this point either.
