Out of these graphing calculators, which one to pick?

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I am giving my SAT Subject Tests (English Lit and Math Level 2)on October 9th, and will be retaking the SAT Reasoning Test In May/June next year (scored 2280 on 1st attempt, wanna cross 2300). </p>

<p>With that in mind, I’ll need to buy a graphing calculator. However, with my budget, I have shortlisted 4 candidates, and they are as follows -</p>

<p>So, could you please recommend any one out of these 4? On ease of use, number of functions and general experience/reviews? Which one should I pick?</p>

<p>^Agree with going with TIs.</p>

<p>I used the TI-86 extensively in high school, and I think it’s easier to use than the TI-84. That may be just because I’m more used to the former calculator though.</p>

<p>EDIT: They don’t make TI-86s anymore, I think. Go with the TI-84.</p>

<p>im pretty sure they dont allow most of those on ACT or SAT tests… but yes ti-84, like $100 at officemax or prob $70 on ebay or craigslist</p>

<p>Why wouldn’t they allow the calculators I have listed? I see nothing in them that breaks the CollegeBoard’s rules They are just normal graphing calcis!</p>

<p>The TI-84 is idiot-proof, but the vastly cheaper HP 40gs is far more powerful. I’d go for a CAS system any day.</p>

<p>I don’t really know about CB rules… all I remember is a prohibition against QWERTY calculators.</p>

<p>nvrm im an idiot and didnt realize collegeboard is smarter than ACT which pretty much only allows the TI’s
but id still go with TI 84</p>
