Hey all-

Congrats if you’ve just been accepted! Even though it’s still a bit far off, you’re probably all thinking about August, orientation, and the start of classes.

If you want a low-key, fun transition into Cornell in an outdoor setting, I recommend you to check out Outdoor Odyssey, Cornell’s largest pre-orientation program. We offer a wide selection of trips to various places, and on each you have the opportunity to meet a small group of new freshman and several upperclassmen.

I participated as a freshman, and I absolutely loved it. I made the best friends I could have made, friends I’m still close to two years later.

Reply with questions about the program or ask them at odyssey@cornell.edu !
