Outrageous!

[College students living in the lap of luxury - latimes.com](College housing has never looked so nice)

No, I’m not talking about West 27th Place. I’m talking about the fleecing and caging of the bear cubs in the Units.

Haha I don’t know if that would help me do better in school. But the college near my hometown had a pool too! What the heck.

This is why we call them U$C…

Can you imagine how many robberies would take place if Cal were to implement something like this? lol

That’s actually not that expensive compared to some of the apartments around here.

^Exactly. I payed about $200 more per month for my double in Berkeley.

The real story here should be about how Cal Housing screws us.

Every year berkeley continues to become worse and worse.

One of the best things about it was its prestige combined with a cheap price. Now that the cheap price is gone, we might as well attend schools like USC with a far better alumni network, nice apartments, good weather, no annoying curves, and a much better experience.

Yeah, the cheap price is completely gone… :frowning:
We should all just start another movement, the FSM of the new century, where the students “take back” Berkeley…because, seriously…

Here’s another reason why Berkeley sucks: negotiating with Comcast is near impossible. You can threaten to cancel and they’ll just be like **** you we got 1000s of you poor students under our thumbs because ATT here isn’t that great…

I’m sorry for all you out-of-state folks, but it’s laughable to say that the cheap price is gone for an in-state student that lives off campus.
