Over the summer, only practicing for CR?

<p>I have taken the SAT twice…</p>

CR- 600
M- 740
W- 610 (E 8)</p>

<p>May
CR- 590
M- 760
W- 690 (E 10)</p>

<p>My guidance counselor suggested that I retake it in October to get my Critical Reading score up. Should I only study/practice for CR over the summer? I’m happy with my Math and Writing scores, so is it okay if I dont do any prep for them? I unfortunately didn’t prep for the SAT these past 2 times besides a couple practice tests I took, so I’m hoping by prepping for CR it will go up</p>
