<p>To any current Columbia students:</p>
<p>How would you rate the quality of your experience at Duke? What are the best parts about it? What parts would you change? What schools did you also consider other than Duke? Do you ever look back and regret the choice?</p>
<p>I think there are relatively few Columbia students who have attended Duke, so you might not get that many responses.</p>
<p>Judging by the fact that there’s an identical thread in the Duke forum, I’m assuming he copy + pasted and forgot to change all the "Duke"s to "Columbia"s. That’s still a very funny thing to read though.</p>
<p>Yeah, woops my bad, I just copied and pasted it from the Duke thread. I received likely letters from both schools and have the fortunate dilemma of trying to choose between them. I am waiting on some other schools RD, but in some sense haven’t gotten over the excitement of hearing early and am beginning to ponder the possibilities.</p>
<p>Huge differences between Duke and Columbia. Both are awesome academically. Biggest differences are with student life. I’d say if you have an independent streak, Columbia’s your best bet. But if you don’t mind going with the flow most of the time, Duke’s probably your thing. I know two Class of 2014 EDers who chose Columbia and Duke respectively for these reasons. Be sure and visit both before making your decision. Best of luck to you as you begin your college experience.</p>
