Overall review of SOKA University of America

I am an international student from India, currently a rising senior. I am considering SUA for undergrad and would want some current students to share their experience and provide feedback about the lifestyle of international students at the school.

It’s very small (450-500 students or so, total) with only one major in Liberal Arts, which can be declined into 5 broad concentrations.

Soka enrolls a percentage of international students greater than any other U.S. college:

It is in a very (very) suburban area. There are the strip malls with grocery stores, movie theaters, restaurants in the area but there isn’t a cute downtown area or a young student vibe to the area. There probably isn’t much in the way of public transportation (maybe some commuter options, but Orange County isn’t really known for that).
