How bad is the overcrowding at UF and are online courses required for business majors? Are there other negative effects of budget cuts that affect students in a big way?

online classes and overcrowding aren’t very related to budget cuts. thats just big universities operate.

overcrowding isn’t bad, and has never prevented me or anyone i know from succeeding in a class. online lectures can be hard to keep up on (stats 1), but others are very interesting and for the harder classes its very nice to have the option of re-watching a segment that you didn’t understand properly.

they aren’t serious cons. severely over hyped. of course, i don’t know what its like to have all of my professors know me by name every semester, but about half of them inevitably do for one reason or another. whether they remember me a semester later is an altogether different question.
