Overloading a Schedule?

I’m having this self doubt about my schedule. As of now going into Junior Year my schedule looks like this in 4 block day AB schedule (4 classes a day that alternate). Here are my eight classes:

-Physics AP
-Pre-Calc Honors
-English 11 Honors
-US History II AP
-PE/Gym/Health
-ICA (intro to computer apps, known to be a easier class in my school)
-Computer Science AP
-German 3 H (automatically Honors at 3rd year level)

I know this question it largely opinionated by could I be over-loading my schedule? If I were to go for a major in engineering would it be bad to take a CPA level English course? I’m was just curious and wanted to look for some direct input.

No, although I have to tell you, for me, as a STEM kid, AP English Language was one of the most valuable courses I could have taken. Not only is writing a life skill, the class was invaluable for writing college application essays.

What do you mean as a STEM kid? (I’ve done STEM before) and writing is important though I think it’s mostly fear having due to never being a very good writer

STEM stands for
Science
Technology
Engineering
Mathematics

That’s why you take classes - to improve

Anyway, just because a school offers a whole bunch of AP classes does not mean that you are expected to take them all. But, AP Lang is a really valuable class.

Also remember that you need time to study for sat/act
