<p>I have to amend my 2009 taxes which will cause a $9000 increase in my adjusted gross income. Do I have to go back and change my 2010-2011 Fafsa application if it’s been over a year and the financial aid was already disbursed? Also If and when I change my Fafsa and it shows I was overpaid in pell grants do I have to pay it back in a lump sum? I want to be honest and I don’t want to get in trouble for an honest mistake. I’m planning on talking to my financial aid office on Wednesday but I was seeing if I can get an idea of what they might say because I am being inpatient. Thanks for your help.</p>
