Overusing phone data.

For some reason, my phone has been automatically using 4G data quite a lot, even though I already connected it to my Wife connection at home. When I check the data usage, it has already exceeded the 1GB limit. It has used 1.06 GB in just one week! This is has never happened before.

I already turn off mobile data. This means it will only connect to the internet if there is a Wifi spot, right? Would be charged for overusing .06 GB of data?

Do you use the internet or other social media apps (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc) while you’re not on Wi-Fi? Depending on your usage, 1 GB can be used up rather quickly!

If you turn off Mobile Data, then yes, your phone should only be able to connect to the internet while on Wi-Fi. As for the .06 GB overage, it shouldn’t be a problem; you should contact your phone service provider for more info about that.
