Okay so Owl Weekend is like April 17th (or somewhere around there), and I was wondering how the weather is like down there right now. Here in Birmingham, it’s fickle, one day its’ 70 degrees, another day its 40 degrees. So basically wondering if I should bring long-sleeves or short-sleeves.

Also, what should one bring to Owl weekend besides a toothbrush and the usual. Thanks!

It’s probably gonna be hot already. I’d bring a single pair of jeans and a light coat just to be safe (in case a random cold front comes through), but other than that shorts and t-shirts should be fine. But keep in mind- Rice classes might be cold.

one would THINK hot- but judging by yesterday’s freezing coldness (what was that about, anyway??), who really knows? The best thing is to dress in layers.

Northeasterners - take note, by freezing coldness he means mid to upper 50s. I’d bring mostly t-shirts and shorts, a sweatshirt and pair of jeans, and maybe something fun to wear to a party. If you want to be AWESOME, something for your host is always appreciated, though certainly not required or even expected at all.

It was freezing coldness compared to the day before. And it was really windy! I’m worried about my friend who was considering going to Michigan State, though… she was wearing a shirt and a sweatshirt and complaining about the coldness yesterday…

It is usually cooler the day after it rains; in the case of yesterday, it was raining the night before, quite heavily, and therefore the temperature did not surprise me.
