<p>I’m applying to Oxford for Master’s graduate programs in English–can someone tell me if a) the college you attend matters much on the graduate level, b) what my chances of acceptance are if I am not accepted into my first two college choices (indicated on the application)? I’d like to put one of the older, more prestigious colleges (like Merton or Magdalene) as a first choice, but don’t want to ruin my chances of getting in.</p>
<p>Also, Oxford doesn’t requite GRE scores, but I was thinking of volunteering my highest scores (V 740, M 780, W 5.5)…but I took the GREs 3 times and the other scores are just average (in the 640-700 range). Should I volunteer my scores or not?</p>
