P Diddy's son scholarship- yes or no?

<p>LOS ANGELES - Amid questions on whether it’s appropriate for a rich man’s son to receive free tuition, the son of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is defending the $54,000-a-year football scholarship he received from UCLA.</p>

<p>Surprised no one has brought up this topic. Should his son get the scholarship? If so, doesn’t it possibly mean someone else, marginally less qualified, but in much more need of scholarship money, might not? Or should he get it because he earned it, regardless of whom his parents are? He apparently has a 3.75 gpa.</p>

<p>I think if he earned it, he sould get the scholarship. I also think his parents, being multi- millionaires, should respectively decline.</p>
