<p>I noticed that the percentages used to figure your state and local taxes has changed to 6% for income <15K and 5% for income >15K</p>
<p>same chart from last year’s EFC guide was 5, 4% respectively.</p>
<p>A higher number SUBTRACTS a bigger number from your available income that is used in final EFC calculation.</p>
