Packaging Science

Info session at one school was mentioning a few of their engineering majors besides the usual electrical, mechanical, etc. They talked about packaging science. It’s not designing better boxes, but designing all types of packaging. Every product in the world comes in some type of package, and packaging engineers design them to be more efficient, attractive, cost effective, eco-friendly, etc. Seems like an interesting field. They mentioned their graduating packaging majors had 100% placement last year. Any opinions or info about this major?
