<p>Well, parts of Pakistan are beyond control of the central government and serve as sanctuary for AQ members. And the Pakistani Interservice Intelligence Agency (ISI) is riddled with Taliban–and by extension AQ–sympathizers.</p>

<p>An Islamist coup in Pakistan is higher on my list of worries than North Korea and on that scale Iraq’s civil war isn’t much more than an elephant’s bunion.</p>
