<p>"The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace has named Oliver Palmer 11 one of its 2011 Junior Fellows in its Asia program. He is also a member of The Daily Princetonian Editorial Board. </p>
<p>Palmer, a Wilson School concentrator, is one of nine fellows selected out of a pool of nominees from over 400 colleges. As a Junior Fellow, he will spend one year working directly with noted China and Asia experts Michael Swaine and Douglas Paal and conducting research for books, the China Leadership Monitor and other publications. . . . <p>The Carnegie Junior Fellows program is extremely competitive. This year, of the nine Fellows, two were from Stanford. The other schools represented were Princeton, Cornell, U. of Chicago, Pomona, Berkeley, Tufts and Miami U. of Ohio each of which had one.</p>
