I just need to calm my nerves a bit. I scheduled an interview for this coming Tuesday, which I’m really excited about and not stressed really. However, what is getting me really nervous is that when I scheduled my interview I got a confirmation email, but that’s it. I have no idea where to report for my interview or who it’s with or anything, so I’ve tried to email the admissions office this morning but I haven’t heard back yet. Can any of you tell me what happened when you scheduled your on campus interview? Do they email you the day before the interview or what?

Thanks so much!

TL;DR: Got confirmation email about interview, but no idea where or who it’s with. Normal?

The admissions office is really good about responding to concerns; and I’m sure they will call you back during regular hours. You can also try calling them during those times if they are taking longer than normal.

Additionally, I would assume you would report to the admissions office itself. However, I did my interview out-of-state; and therefore, am not sure of the exact procedure.

But don’t stress – the interview isn’t meant to cause you stress. It’s actually a lot of fun; and I’m sure you will be given further instructions soon!

Okay great. I scheduled the interview in early September, so I really thought I would have heard something before the last four days until my interview.

I will call them on Monday afternoon if I still haven’t heard anything.

S had an on campus interview. Don’t panic–just go to the admissions office 10 or 15 minutes before your appointment, sign in with the receptionist and wait for them to call you.

Hello ZacharyCort, just go to the admissions office-- in Rosenwald Hall-- about 15 minutes before your appointment, and check in with the student at the front desk (the first person you’ll see when you walk through the front doors, can’t miss them). Usually interviewers are assigned to students either the day before or the day of, depending on who is in the office on the day of your appointment, so don’t worry that you haven’t heard who is interviewing you yet; the desk person will let the interviewer know you have arrived and everything will be fine from there. :)
