Paper Application has One Extra Required Essay?

<p>The Princeton supplement on the Common App website asks applicants to chose one of five topics and write 500 words. </p>

<p>The paper Princeton application that came with the viewbook has the same 5 topics, but it asks applicants to chose one topic, write 500 words AS WELL AS a second one, the response of which should be about 300.</p>

<p>What?!</p>

<p>That is probably Princeton’s own application form, in which case the 300-word essay takes the place of the Common App essay. So two essays whether you use Common App (+ supplement) or Princeton’s own.</p>
