Just a note to anyone who might be waiting on PPU. Although my D’s final choice had been made and she was not choosing PPU over that decision, she was curious why she never heard anything from them after a deferral letter in March. She called twice and sent an email and every time the administration seemed unsure of what happened. She wasn’t on any list and no one could give her any more information. Today she recieved a very nice apology email stating that her paperwork was misfiled but they were sending her an MT acceptance letter in the mail right away. I suppose the lesson here is be persistent. Although it didn’t ultimately matter, accept to her fragile ego, a final answer is owed to anyone who takes the time and expense to audition.

If it makes you feel any better, during my daughters auditions a few years ago we had this issue at two or three different schools (not PPU). I was shocked at how disorganized a few of these programs were and completely oblivious. From letters pre-confirming an audition slot and then at auditions not having her on their list to lack of response at all! It was surprising. You are right, be persisent and follow up.
