<p>I just read that the soccer match for today was cancelled due to torrential rain in Annapolis. A dress parade was scheduled for today. Do they do dress parades in the rain? </p>

<p>I was in Annapolis today and it was raining so hard, you could hardly see across the river to the Naval Station. Second week in a row that the parade’s been canceled…guess we’ll have to wait until spring now.</p>
<p>I really don’t think the midshipmen are complaining about the parades being canceled. I know my two mids were happy!</p>
<p>On the 11PM news tonight it said that we have gotten 4 inches of rain over the past 3 days but… still down 8 inches of rain for the year over normal rain amounts. The drought continues.</p>
<p>^^^ Southern California hasn’t gotten four inches of rain in 18 months. It reminds me of that desert in Chile where it rains once every 10 years.
