Pardee Tower

So I was just assigned to Pardee Tower with a friend from high school, which is fine. Not my first choice, but it’s good enough. However, I do have one concern. The rooms are tiny (like all dorm rooms), and I was planning to raise my bed pretty high to stuff a lot of the movable furniture under it, like the microwave and smaller shelving unit. The problem is, someone earlier on this forum mentioned that you can’t raise the Pardee beds? Is this true? Or will I have to break out the old cinderblock method? (And if so, how hard would this be to accomplish?)

Hi! I lived in Pardee Tower this past year and the room wasn’t that small.
You can buy bed raisers at Bed Bath and beyond, Target etc, and raise your bed.
I only raised my bed once (one raiser) but it was enough to fit a lot of stuff underneath. Many people I knew raised their beds. But there is a lot of storage in Pardee in general so I don’t think you should have that big of a problem.
Cinderblocks are not allowed.

thanks so much  That was exactly what I wanted to know!
