Parent "Friend Account" question

Hey, so I added my parents on wolverine access so that they can look at my bill and handle the money directly. The problem is when they log on, none of that information is available to them. They can't access it. I made them friend accounts and I don't know if there is some extra step that I don't know about. Any help would be appreciated :)

just log onto your thing and have them do it from that, I experienced the same issue. I don't think there is any way around it

^It's a privacy issue thing. If you let them use YOUR PWD and ID they can get what they need.

Strange... I made a "friend" account and can sign on to WA and see bills, etc. Perhaps a step was missed along the way, such as the OP adjusting a setting giving permission to his parents to view billing information. I also receive emails when invoices are posted, etc.

I checked, and all the boxes are checked so I don't know what the problem is. I think I'll just give my parents my password.

You have to go onto YOUR Wolverine Access and ask it to authorize your parents to see your info (they will see financial info and address info, nothing much more).

a.YOU (the student) go to Wolverine Access;
b.Log on to Wolverine Access using your U-M uniqname and kerberos password.
c.Select Parent/Family Authorization from the Student Center.
d.Enter your parent's email address and select My Student Account Data under Wolverine Access Authorization.
e.Save the email address by clicking the SAVE button located at the top or bottom of the form. DID YOU MISS THIS STEP?

You can authorize up to 4 email addresses.

Within 24 hours after you authorize their access, they will receive an email notifying them how to set up a Friend Account. Authorized Friend Account holders can view your information on Wolverine Access by selecting "My Student's Information" (under "Parents & Family").
Perhaps they did not get the email from Umich (maybe their spam filter filtered it out?) or did not follow it
