<p>Ok, so you know how most of the student loans offered by the government/colleges, you only have to start paying them back AFTER you graduate, right? Are there any parent loans like that?</p>
<p>There are parent loans that you can defer payments with an excuse (medical/unemployment) and there are others that you can defer principal and pay the interest. I saw one where you could defer both, but the amount you would end up paying would be much more than the initial loan and your payments would be larger.</p>
