<p>It has gone by SO fast. One-and-only will graduate from college in May. He has a job. All is good. </p>

<p>I think I’ve adjusted over the last 4 years to his changing circumstances and his changing abilities and needs. </p>
<p>Now what? </p>
<p>This forum has been great; I have not encountered another like it elsewhere and I sooooo wish I had found it before all of son’s apps had been submitted. (He ended up where he blossomed, even though we were winging it) </p>
<p>Where do I go now? Any ideas about internet fora that are no more obnoxious than this one had been? That sounds like faint praise, I know, but it really isn’t.</p>
<p>Rambling post. I am sorry. Anyone else out there with similar thoughts?</p>
<p>S1 graduated last May and now lives four states away from us. Still hard for me to believe sometimes. S2 is still in college so guess that gives me an excuse for hanging around awhile longer.<br>
mafool, you can still hang around. Some of the most interesting threads have nothing to do with college!</p>
<p>mafool, Don’t leave us now! My son is a senior in high school and I am counting on those of you who have blazed the path to help me navigate the coming years. </p>
<p>I have found that boards associated with hobbies tend to be nice. I used to belong to one that was associated with knitting and we talked about all kinds of things. </p>
<p>Mafool, you are still welcome here. Many of us have only mild interest in college at this point. My S is graduating & starting a job soon. D is happily in her college & graduating–hopefully in a year or two. I still find the folks here very nice & like sharing. Please stick with us–we’re a nice bunch! Please???</p>
