Hi, everyone,

I’m part of a start-up private school for my oldest son, and a parent committee is tasked with developing a parent survey that will be used as part of the school’s application for regional accreditation. As I draft part of the survey, it occurs to me that a lot of CC parents know a lot more about good, college-preparatory private schools than I do, so I wonder what you think such a survey should ask. The survey drafted by our committee must be in Likert scale format (“strongly disagree” to . . . “strongly agree” about different opinion statements) but in principle we can ask about anything. What should we ask about? What would you like to know about a school you were choosing for your child? What other suggestions do you have?
