<p>Do coaches ever use parents of existing players to talk to parents of recruits?</p>
<p>I would expect it happens but I do not think it is technically allowed by NCAA. Tough to police however.</p>
<p>I have heard of existing players reaching out to recruits from their own HS.</p>
<p>^ in our scholar-athlete’s case…the coach PROHIBITS the team from talking with any potential recruits outside of an official OV.</p>
