Parent returns to college

I want to go back to college to improve my skills and surround myself with people who can hold an intelligent discussion. I’m currently seeking financial aid and contemplating a major in aviation and a minor in general studies. I’m in the early stages of midlife…so what are my chances of succeeding in a new career?

what sort of major is aviation?
YOu mean aeronautical engineering?

If you are thinkng about aviation, re: pilot, be sure to check out the marches and complaints for better pay and more stable and safe working conditions that US pilots are protesting. Even hero Sully Sullenberger testified before Congress about the situation.

My mom and I got our BAs together ! She went back to college around age 60 .

Awesome, fauxmaven! My mother went back to college at the same time I was in college; she graduated when I was a junior, and I couldn’t have been prouder of her. (She had my younger sister still home at the time.)
