While filling out the Apply Texas form, I came across the question " Projected Parental Support". I am an OOS for the first year and will become in-state student after the next year as my dad has recently moved to TX due to his work. My parent are confused that if they put 50% of OOS fee for their contribution, then when I become instater it will cover all of instate tuition fees. UT Austin may not give me any scholarship from the second year and onwards…</p>
<p>Anyway, my question is - will the figure in this question affect the chances of getting scholarships.</p>
