<p>Oh yey, my parents didn’t keep a copy of 2004 tax returns. (I cant believe my asian parents forgot about this!) I am a Canadian student, btw. </p>

<p>So for all the colleges, I am planning to just send the “official assessment” from the official canadian tax agency instead. I also attached a letter saying that my parents didn’t keep a copy of 2004 tax returns. Anyone know if this is acceptable?</p>

Your parents should also know that in general you need to keep documentation for 6 or 7 years</p>
