We’ve helped each other in many ways, and have helped each other’s kiddos. Anyone happen to be in Little Rock? Am stuck here
Oh geez!
Hotels probably full…
I am not…but sending cyberhugs - weather related???
Oh no! I stayed in a new hotel in Little Rock-brand new in fact. Hilton Garden Inn is primarily a hotel which caters to business travel. Not real fancy, but new and nice. Don’t know if it’s close to the airport though, I just stayed there as I was driving back to Texas from North Carolina.
Hope you get unstuck soon.
Here’s the link to the one I stayed at.
Take care!
Thanks . Can’t find any availability.
@jym626, I plugged in today’s date at tripadvisor.com and it had some hits. Maybe you can find something this way.

airbnb?
Hope you made out okay. That kind of disruption with nowhere to crash is the worst,
We are in an adorable B&B - the owner is a riot! It was rated #1 on trip advisor and was not too far from the airport (though took forever to get here due to weather).
Thanks, everyone. Travel tomorrow will still be a challenge and our flight times are all over the place. One person thinks she is getting out on a 6:30 AM flight. Thats not gonna happen.
So glad you are comfortable. It’s snowing hard here in Dallas-in March! The last time this happened in March that I can remember was March of 1989. DH and I were newlyweds. I had braved the weather to adopt a kitten I’d set my heart on, and he had Lonesome Dove on video that his stepdad had recorded. We snuggled together all weekend together and watched the whole miniseries in one day (and named the kitten Gus, lol). Such a hassle yet such a treat in a place where snow is rare to begin with, much less in March.
My bedroom is on the second floor of our house, looking out on the golf course and a small stream. It’s all white, and I can see the snow coming down heavy, but it’s bright as though there was strong moonlight out. Weird!
Glad you found a place to settle, @jym626 !
I remember that all too well. I was due with D2 the first week of Feb., and we also had snow/ice then. We actually went out and bought tire chains for the car in case we needed to get to the hospital during the bad weather. Thankfully we didn’t - she came two weeks late. But I remember when she was only a few weeks old, and it snowed again. We have a picture of me outside with D1, and I was wearing D2 in the baby sling, and had my coat on top of her. In the picture, I still look nine months pregnant, as opposed to someone who’d already had her baby and was just wearing her on the inside of a coat.
gonna try to get to the airport with 5 inches of snow on the roads. Not looking forward to this.
Good grief! Be safe.
Be very careful!!!
Still trying to get home. Drove in 5-6" of unplowed snow to get back to the airport at 5 am for one persons flight. We are still here…
