I just got into Penn Huntsman ED, and I have no idea what to do with my EA Chicago app. Do I call? My parents say I should wait for their acceptance/rejection package, but aren’t I supposed to withdraw all apps right away? Or can I wait it out till wednesday because Chicago’s non-binding anyways?

First, Congratulations. You should wait until you receive your letter from Penn then write to Chicago right away to withdraw. This should take only a couple of days.

Ok. Thanks a lot for your help. I think I will wait for Penn’s letter, then fedex a withdrawal to Chicago. But, what if they already accepted me, would I still write a withdrawal letter? Because I think Chicago’s mailing out packages this week, while Penn’s sending their acceptance letters (YAY!) this week as well.

Yes, you should still write a withdrawal letter to Chicago even if you are accepted. Let them know as soon as possible – a phone call or email even – so they can give the spot to someone else.
