Parents of class of 2012...how did it go?

My daughter went to Providence College and will graduate on May 20. I could not be more thrilled about her experience there! She enjoyed her classes, had committed professors, is graduating with honors, played intramural sports, made wonderful friends, had three fantastic internships including a paid one that started in the summer after junior year and continued throughout her senior year, volunteered at a Habitat for Humantity experience, and has a great job post graduation. So glad I listened to my daughter and had her pursue her dreams at the college that was THE fit for her. I am a high school principal and I see that parents sometimes try to live through their children and want them to do what they wanted to do. Let your child follow his or her path. Oh, and my daughter’s debt post graduation is less than 10K in loans. It was need based. Not merit so it is what it is and I am grateful.
