Since I’m as neurotic as the rest of us, I discovered that if you click on the user name in the post, it will give you the exact date when it was posted even though it just says “December 2023” next to the scroll bar!

Even easier … just hover your mouse over the date in the post and it will tell you the exact date and time.

And Clemson just announced that decisions will come this Thursday at 6pm. Crossing all the fingers. While it’s technically his number 2 choice, not number 1, I think this is both where S25s heart probably lies and a more realistic chance than his number 1 choice, so I’m really hoping he gets good news.

Where are y’all seeing these announcements? Emails coming your way, or on individual websites, or is there a more central location? (Asking as someone with a kid still awaiting two EA, one rolling, and two not-til-March RD.)
Clemson was an email tonight, but also was posted on their instagram last year (don’t see it there yet.) There’s also a thread on here where a mod is aggregating confirmed decision dates College Decision Dates: The Official 2024-2025 CC Calendar - #171 by MelMac14

Still waiting here…Santa Clara sent an email to DS today saying "we’re working hard to finish evaluating more than 12,000 applications but you should be hearing from us soon"
Just give us an actual date and time for crissake!

Maybe it’s bc I know most of the results are coming in (counts on fingers) 3.5 months, but you all make me feel remarkably calm! 
Seriously, though, I hope you all get news that makes your heart sing soon!
My other reason for being calm: Nutcracker is done! And it was wonderful. It was my D25’s first pas de deux role and it was rocky for a variety of reasons at the beginning. But she shone, y’all, and there were tears not just in my eyes at the end, per other parent reports. I question all kinds of things, on all kinds of topics, but do not question putting her in ballet way back when. I don’t know what the future holds, and struggle with the toxicity of the ballet world (multiple companies still do daily weigh-ins, as one very small example), but for now I’m soaking in the beauty of dance, of artistry, of passions well-lived.
And, back to college talk, dear Lord, please let her get the videos/essays for colleges done quickly this week so she can get all the delayed schoolwork done before the term ends!

I would totally do this.
I check the portal pretty regularly for 2 schools (yes I have passwords) for 2 schools that make clear their dates but I don’t trust they won’t do it earlier for various reasons..
