Often the suggestion is to major in psychology or finance/business/accounting type majors, continue being active with a youth group, then do a Master’s while working.
Look at Samford University and the University of Mobile for example.

Alot of schools have a theology major. I think it’s common to major in Theology, maybe take some education classes and then go to a Seminary. Many colleges still have a religious affilation. Just google your religons name and college, like, " Lutheran Colleges". Or even youth ministry, college

Coolziller, I’m UMC, I’ll ask around. Again most of the pastors I know have undergrad majors in a variety of subjects, including religion, but then went to divinity school. The youth pastors are more of a mixed bag in terms of backgrounds. Take a look at B’ham -Southern, they only have a religion major now, but still give scholarships to UMC students, and a number of pastors begin their education there. Huntingdon College also, but it is very small now.

yeah, i have a friend a few years older than me who goes to BSC for religion who plans to go to seminary afterward.
he’s super cool and i look up to him a lot.
but yeah, i’m just confused on the whole process i guess.
i mean, i know how to get the list of all the colleges that offer that as a major, but they’re usually small and/or unknown, so i don’t know much about them.
i’ll take a look at huntingdon and eastern
