So, say that your parents are refusing to pay for your college expenses, even when they can certainly afford it (so much so that you do not qualify for any need-based financial aid). Is there any way to get any sort of money?

Do really, really well and qualify for merit scholarships. Or work and pay as you go.

Look at momoftexas’s thread on full ride scholarships.

even with a full ride you will still need to come up with room and board - at close to or above $10,000/year this is difficult for a college kid to earn.

You may have to consider a community college for a couple of years if there is a good one nearby.
If your parents won’t pay for college - what do they expect from you? Get a job? Go part time and work your way through? You should need to have a discussion with them.

The thread I recommend have full ride including room and board scholarships.
