Hi from another mom of a senior. Yes, wow, four years. And soon out to the real world. The students seem more excited than nervous, although there is some of both. Are you going to any other shows this year, or to the showcase? I’m going to miss the CMU shows.

pennmom, I hope you’ll be able to see your S perform this spring! The students are really at their peak as seniors. My D is performing in more shows this year, so I’ve been making more trips to Pittsburgh. I’m hoping to see her in the New Works this coming weekend. I also look forward to seeing all the actors in The Alice Project, and the whole class in the New York Showcase. And yes, I will miss them, too!

We were out for Midsummer and Playground, and plan to see the Alice Project, whatever that turns out to be. Not sure if we can make it for New Works, since I think we have a conflict. We’re hoping to hit the New York showcase in March, since I think there is a day families are invited. It has been great to see the students grow over the four years, and we’re very pleased with the networking opportunities.

Hi all! Can’t wait, my husband and I will be flying out to Pittsburgh to see the new works this weekend. My son is directing one of the pieces, based on the notes of an unfinished O’neil play. We are in the middle of an ice storm, and it better clear up by Friday!

So far, the forecast for Pittsburgh looks okay for Friday during the day. We’re hoping to arrive in time to see your S’s play. But it all depends on the weather…

If you make it, Say Hello! I have dark hair in a blunt cut and will be the one over 55(?) . My husband is a silver fox who looks identical to our son! Good luck on your flight!

Hope to see you there, too. If we don’t make tomorrow’s show, we’ll try for Saturday night. I expect that there will be a number of parents in our age range. I’ll be carrying a puffy white coat. See you!
