Can current U of M parents chime in on parents weekend? What types of activities are scheduled? Do most freshman parents seem to attend? Is this a “don’t miss” weekend? Thanks in advance
FWIW, we have a rising freshman and don’t plan to attend. We’d rather visit on a quieter weekend.

If you’ve done a visit with a tour (or even more so an admitted-students visit) it’s definitely not a don’t miss sort of thing. One caveat would be the football game. If you’ve never been to a game at the big house, tbh I think it’s worth going just for that. Something about 110,000 people sitting in a single bowl all going nuts together just hits different than just about any other sort of experience you might have.
That said, any home game will do. Doesn’t need to be parents weekend.
