<p>One thing to remember when making reservations this year for Parent’s Weekend is that the Democratic National Convention is being held in Denver during the week leading up to PW. There will be a high demand for hotel rooms and rental cars. If you haven’t booked, yet, it is a good idea to get moving!
Also, plan on arriving on Thursday if you can. We had dinner Thursday night with another set of parents who we met through the forums, then we were able to get over to the Chapel Thursday evening for a quick meeting with our cadet. And, plan on staying until Tuesday morning before flying out. The cadets have to be back Monday evening at 1700, and it is very nice to taken them back then and have time to linger, rather than having to take them back early so you can catch your flight.</p>
