Gosh I know
My next option is Catholic school UGH!!!
That’s not my choice
it’s theirs
And I listen to everyone else’s parents taking loans etc. etc. and my parents are like “well i don’t want to”
I know that loans are another obstacle to go through but please!!!

i hate this i really do…

tingting, I know you are disappointed, but I am sure your parents want the best for you. It isn’t always as easy as just “taking a loan”, remember those loans have to be paid back. They may be thinking of your future, you still have college to pay for. Try to stay positive, things often have a way of working out for the best.

I hope so…I do understand but then I get jealous too because there are probably so many other kids out there who most likely need more aid then we do and their parents are going the whole 9 yards to help their kids
I feel like my parents are taking the shortcut

Your parents might not be able to take a loan, tingting. I am sure you are not aware of their complete financial situation. Taking loans can be very difficult in the current economic climate. Your parents need to be able to start paying those loans back right away, too. Maybe they are concerned about how they will possibly pay for college if they are tens of thousands of dollars in debt for high school. As a parent, I can tell you that it hurts a lot when I can’t do something for my children because of limited finances. But, that is a reality for most people.
