Parking at Cal Day

<p>How is the parking expected at Cal Day? I’ve heard some not-so-encouraging words from people familiar with the area. Thanks!</p>

<p>Parking is difficult anytime at Cal and event parking is even more of a challenge. There is a campus map that supposedly is “Cay Day friendly,” but good luck with trying to identify parking facilities.</p>

<p>An alternative is to park on one of the side-streets off of Telegraph Avenue and walk the few blocks to campus. From Oakland Airport:
Take 880 North, exit Ashby Avenue (not sure about the signage). Take Ashby to Telegraph Avenue and turn Left on Telegraph. Take one of the side-streets between Dwight and Durant and park. Channing or Haste are good alternatives.</p>

<p>I think the best idea would be to just ditch the idea of trying to park and just take the BART there.</p>
