parking options for SeaTac airport???

Need advice from locals. There are a bunch of lots that come up when I googled to find a place to park near the airport. I’m leaving Sunday night and returning Wednesday morning.
Are any of them better than others? Any that should be avoided?
What about shuttle service (from my home to the airport, I mean)? I found one online but the one-way fare was as much as my plane ticket   Any others to consider?

TIA

I have been parking at Masterpark for 10 years. If you go to their website there is usually a discount coupon you can print out and take in with you to save $2-5 per day (I haven’t checked for the current coupon). If you park in their lot (I think they have five now) with the parking garage, you can even have them detail your car while you are gone.

WashDad,
thanks!
I did reserve a spot there this morning but thought I’d check here to see if anybody had any first-hand knowledge.
When you check out and pay is it pretty quick?

Do not park in their lot C (nearest to the airport). The lots are all under different management, and the attendant in Lot C refused to accept the coupon I printed from their website claiming that “weekly rates” apply to 7 days, not 6.5. Then they charged me for 7 days at the going rate, and the manager was very rude to us. I never encountered such problems at their Lot B. We also had good experience (nice price and fast service) with parking at the Embassy Suites (park yourself and lock) or at MVP Parking (valet).

I like WallyPark (self-park). They have coupons too,

We have used both MasterPark and ShuttlePark2 - no problems. I think we’ve used ShuttlePark2 most recently as I tend to see coupons for that one at the local AAA.

Check out and pay has always been pretty quick for us, as long as you have everything ready when you approach the gate - claim ticket, coupon, and payment method. Submit your coupon when you pay.

Of course the big money saver is to do Metro. I’ve never done it, but have researched it (with the thought of getting dropped off at the local park n ride). Unless you are downtown, it would more than likely require a transfer, maybe not so much fun on a Sunday night.

It’s funny what Bunsen said – Lot B is my “favorite” but I thought it was only because of my habit of creating habits. I’ve always parked in Lot B, so that’s the one I head for.

As for speed, my car is always waiting for me when I show up, and the payment has never taken more than 5 minutes. I’m VERY impatient at the end of a trip, and they don’t hassle me.

At least at Lot B…

We have used MasterPark too, (can’t remember which lots, but never a problem). There was a tv news investigation about a year ago that covered the high incidence of car break-ins at unmonitored/unsecured lots in the airport area (such as hotel lots). It convinced me that MasterPark is the way to go.
