Part time job in your major?

<p>Hi. I’m a sophomore at UC Davis and I am a physics major. I was wondering if it was possible for me to find work in my major right now, before I finish my degree. I’m talking about perhaps collaborating with professors, or TA’s, by helping them grade papers or do research, or even tutor? I also don’t mind if this counts as volunteer instead of being paid. I just feel the need to contribute to my major.</p>

<p>Is there anything I could do? </p>

<p>You could work as a physics tutor in the Learning Center. I think they’re hiring right now, and they pay pretty well compared to many campus jobs.</p>
