Where the incidents are

Heres the breakdown of all dorms on campus by incident reports and alcohol/drug citations. This information comes from documents obtained from the University. It reflects the data from the academic years 2001-2002 through 2005-2006.

The numbers indicate the number of citations received per 100 students living in each dorm each year. To clarify, if the list says 10.5, that means the residence hall has had an average of 10.5 incident reports filed per 100 residents each year.

yeah, fletcher is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so they know how to have fun by staying in one place. also, the hill campus dorms are nice spots too. south quad and west quad are boring dorms.

i don’t know how east quad is on that list. i guess it’s probably the normal students complaining about the RC people… haha…

I’m surprised about Oxford being so low. A big part of it is probably that the buildings are so disconnected, so you don’t get a lot of RAs creeping down the halls as I saw in Markley, probably no DPS officers wandering the halls either. Does Oxford even have RAs? All of the kids I knew from Oxford were big partiers.

i lived in fletcher. wasn’t a big party dorm at all. it’s so high cuz there’s so few people (<50) that one bust is a lot.
equad is high cuz of the number of potheads.

maguo, can’t really agree with you - population is factored in. The number shown is incidents per 100 residents. However, if you are saying that the numbers are incorrect per your experience, then I certainly can’t dispute that.

Actually, they collected the raw numbers, and then presented the weighted statistic because what you’re suggesting is misleading and stupid. Basically what you’re saying is that South Quad should be considered worse than Fletcher, despite the fact that they have 24 times as many residents and only 6 times as many incidents?
