Pass/No Pass classes

Hello,

I will be applying to PhD programs in Islamic Studies this year. I have good stats (although I haven’t taken the GRE yet). I’m currently taking an intensive German course, but I wanted to see whether or not it would be permissible for me to switch the grade to pass/not pass so that I can spend more time focusing on GRE studying.

I have taken four classes pass/no pass already. Two of these were for my honors thesis course (which is automatically pass/no pass), one of them was for an internship I did (automatically pass/no pass) and the last for a second year language course.

I know it will look better if I keep this intensive German course for a letter grade, but I honestly don’t feel like it. Will it reflect poorly on me?

If you have good grades in Arabic and French, then don’t worry about it and go ahead and take German P/F.
