Passing AP test w/o taking ap class

<p>So i didn’t take ap spanish yet still passed the test… will i still be given credit hours in college?</p>

<p>As long as you pass the test, you’re eligible to get honors points for college. However, you will have to check that individual college’s policy regarding AP classes if they allow you to skip a certain class corresponding to your test score.</p>

<p>It does depend on the college. My daughter got AP credit for AP German–she took German at a neighboring school that had IB but not AP and she took the German test.</p>

<p>The test score is the only thing considered in giving AP/IB credit/placement.</p>

<p>Colleges only look at the test for credit, so yes you’ll get the credit. I have that too- credit for AP Psych test, although I didn’t take the class (self-studied).</p>
