I was wondering what is the overall passing grade in Georgia in hIghschool

I would also like to know what would happen if you failed a semester in the state of Georgia

Check with the school district in question. Why do you ask? I would expect necessary courses failed would need retaking. A high school diploma usually means you completed a course of study, not that you did well.

The graduation rate is like 72% I believe
And i think a good chunk of schools offer “credit recovery” for kids that fail, but I hear it’s pricey (I may be wrong about the costs)

Are you asking what the passing grade is for a class? It’s 70% in our school district.
If a student fails a class they can retake it during the summer for credit recovery for a fee or they can do the virtual credit recovery which may or may not cost you anything.
