Passing time, chances?

As annoying as these can be, will someone please chance me for Yale (I have a lot of nervous energy built up waiting for the 15th)?

Strengths: Great GPA and class rank as well as extra-curriculars (I’m involved in so much I rarely get to eat lunch at school). Involved in sports as well as every band offered.

Weaknesses: SAT scores and community service.

So what do you think?

how did you take both calcs junior year?

You’ve got a shot, but you pretty much know what you’re strengths and weaknesses are.
I wish I could say more, but it’s Yale… and you never know.

At my class each class is an hour and a half long (we only take four a semester), so pretty much we cram each calc into a semester. It is actually really effective. All eleven of us passed the test and 5 of us got two fives. The problem with Yale though is that there isn’t a magic number that you have to get to or anything. It is all about being able to sell who you are to the decisions people.

the thing is.

collegeboard doesn’t let you take both ab and bc in the same year/the tests are administered at the same time. so unless you somehow were able to like take both tests in the same time slot (via a time machine) or late-tested (still against CB’s regs) idk how you would’ve done it.

do you mean your ab subscore was a five?

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood you there. I meant my subscore was a 5. Sorry about that, everyone in my class just kind of counts them separately (we had a few 5s on AB but 3s on the BC subscore). I should have clarified that.

i don’t think being unable to eat lunch is necessarily a good thing.

lol just scrap your SAT and use the ACT. A 34 is pretty good.

lol, dude I think it’s too late, he did EA.

But yeah, ACT much better for you than the SATs (I) (II) could be better too, but I find my II opinions are skewed so hard because the median at my school is too high to mention.

i am in both cals Ab and BC(only one ever in my school to do so), and you can take both ap exams. You just take ap exam form B next week. my teacher made sure it was possible.

ivsaz: What is ivy-league-you?
